Crack And Joint Sealing

Our Crack And Joint Sealing Process

Cracks and Joints can be filled to improve the look of the surface and also seal the gaps so water is kept away from the soil that is holding your concrete up. Caulking does not “Fix” the cracks, but rather fills them in. When properly applied, our crack and joint sealing process with the polyurethane caulk looks very nice and lasts for years to come.

Benefits of Crack And Joint Sealing

  • Improve the look of your concrete
  • Keep water away from the soil that is holding up the concrete

Our Trusted Process

Step 1: Grind and Prep Joints and Cracks

All joints and cracks are meticulously ground out to ensure a good adhering surface. Cracks and joints are then filled with a foam backer rod to control the depth of the caulk application.

Step 2: Caulk Applied

Professional grade polyurethane caulk is carefully applied to each joint and crack in question. Caulk is left about an eighth of an inch lower than the surface to ensure caulk doesn’t “spill over.

Step 3: Dry Sand Application

After all Caulk has been applied a very thin layer of dry sand is applied to the surface to give the caulk a more “Concrete Like” appearance.
